עונת 2007/2008 בליגת העל הייתה העונה התשיעית של ליגת העל כליגת הכדורגל הבכירה בישראל.

על ניצחון במשחק הוענקו שלוש נקודות ונקודה בודדת הוענקה על תיקו. הליגה כללה 12 קבוצות ששיחקו ביניהן במשך 3 סיבובים בני 11 משחקים כל אחד - 33 מחזורים בסה"כ. העולות החדשות שהצטרפו לליגת העל לקראת עונה זו היו עירוני קריית שמונה ובני סכנין. העונה החלה ב-18 באוגוסט 2007 והסתיימה ב-1 ביוני 2008. העונה הסדירה הסתיימה באליפות של בית"ר ירושלים בפעם השנייה ברציפות. בשנה זו בית"ר זכתה גם בגביע המדינה, וקשר הקבוצה גל אלברמן נבחר לכדורגלן העונה בישראל. מלך השערים של העונה היה סמואל יבואה (הפועל כפר סבא) עם 15 שערים.

בסיום העונה הפועל כפר סבא ומכבי הרצליה ירדו ליגה. הקבוצות שעלו מהליגה הלאומית לליגת העל בתום העונה היו הכח עמידר רמת גן והפועל פתח תקווה.
