חדר טכני הוא חדר המיועד לרכיבים מסוימים של מערכות בבניין, בדרך כלל אותם חלקים המפעילים את המערכת[1]

במבנים המיועדים לשימוש יומיומי על ידי אנשים אקראיים, כמו משרדים, דירות, בנייני מגורים, ומבני ציבור, בהם מותקנות מערכות טכניות שונות, חדרים אלה עשויים להכיל את הציוד והמערכות החיוניים לצורך תפעול תקין של מערכות אלו. לעיתים גם משמשים לאחסון של ציוד, חומרים וכלים המיועדים לתחזוקת המערכות. חדרים טכניים יכולים להימצא גם על אוניות או כמבנה ייעודי במתחמים שונים (קמפוס, מחנות צבא וכדומה), במקרים רבים כאלה הם מכונים חדר מערכות או חדר מכונות.

לעיתים קרובות בחדרים הטכניים נמצאים ציוד, תנאי סביבה וחומרים העלולים להוות סכנה בטיחותית, ולכן אינם מיועדים לשהות ממושכת של אנשים בתוכם. כדי למנוע תקלות או נזק, חדרים טכניים רבים נגישים רק לאנשי התחזוקה של התשתיות טכניות או לאנשים המוסמכים לכך. בכך, חדר טכני מהווה פתרון המאפשר גישה בטוחה לתחזוקת ציוד תוך מניעת גישה ממי שעלול להיפגע.

מבנה

חדרים טכניים נחשבים לאזורים חיוניים במבנים, והמבנה שלהם יכול להשפיע על תפקוד המערכות הטכניות. ישנן כמה נקודות שמיוחדות להם:[2]

  • גישה נוחה: חדרים טכניים צריכים להיות נגישים לצוותי תחזוקה ותיקון, ולכן תכנון הכניסות והמעברים אליהם ובהם חשוב מאוד.
  • אוורור וטמפרטורה: מכשירים רבים שמותקנים בחדרים אלו פולטים חום, ולכן יש צורך במערכות אוורור או מיזוג מתאימות על מנת למנוע עליית טמפרטורה באופן שיפגע בתפקוד המערכות.
  • רעש: חדרים טכניים כוללים לעיתים מכשירים רועשים, ולכן חשוב לשקול את מיקומם וכן אמצעים לבידוד רעש, כדי שלא יפריעו לשאר השוהים במבנה.
  • ביטחון: תכנון החדרים צריך לכלול מנגנוני אבטחה להגנה על הציוד והמערכות הממוקמים בהם.
  • חשמל ומים: יש צורך לתכנן את תשתיות החשמל והמים באופן מדויק, כדי למנוע בעיות בעת השימוש.
  • סידור פנימי: הארגון הפנימי של חדרים טכניים צריך להיות יעיל, כדי לאפשר גישה קלה למכשירים ולטפל בהם.

אסדרה

חדרים טכניים מיועדים כאמור לציוד ולתחזוקת ציוד, ולכן האסדרה עליהם שונה מאוד מזו של חדרים המיועדים לשימוש יומיומי, וספציפית לציוד לו הם נועדו.[3] האסדרה עשויה לכלול היבטים רבים הנוגעים הן למבנה הפיזי של החדר: שטח, גובה, סוג וגודל של פתחים חיצוניים, חומרי גימור ועוד, והן למערכות ואמצעים נוספים הנדרשים להימצא בחדר כאמצעי התרעה, ניקוז, אוורור, כיבוי אש, תאורת חירום ועוד.
