הפרפר חוצה את הכביש (בפינית: Perhonen ylittää tien) הוא שמו של קובץ שירים, הכולל במקורו את כל יצירתה השירית של הסופרת והמשוררת הפינית אווה קילפי, אחת החשובות ביוצרות הפיניות בנות ימינו.

על הקובץ

קובץ זה ראה אור בהלסינקי בשנת 2000, והשירים הכלולים בו התפרסמו במקור בשישה ספרי שירה שונים:

  • זמר אהבה ושירים אחרים (1972).
  • בברכה (1976).
  • לפני המוות (1982).
  • אנימליה (1987).
  • תודה על האתמול (1996)
  • שירים אחרונים (1996-2000).

התרגום העברי של הקובץ ראה אור בשנת 2007, בתרגומו של רמי סערי, שאף הוסיף לו מבוא והערות.‏[1]. האנתולוגיה העברית התפרסמה כחלק ממפעל שמטרתו להגביר את המודעות לספרות פינלנד בישראל[דרוש מקור].

מאפייני שירתה של קילפי

שירי "הפרפר חוצה את הכביש" ממוקדים ביחסי אנוש, ביחסים בין האדם לעולם החי והצומח ובגעגועים לחבל קרליה שהמשוררת נעקרה ממנו בילדותה עקב מלחמת העולם השנייה. עיסוק היוצרת ביחסי אנוש מציג לקוראים כלים להתמודדות עם מצוקת הבדידות ועם האבל, שכן היתמות והפרדה מקרובים ומאהובים היא אחד הנושאים החוזרים ונשנים ביצירתה. חסד האהבה, שהמשוררת שבה ומזכירה ברבים משיריה, נתפש כאמצעי יאה למעורבות חברתית ופוליטית ולהתנגדות לאדישות ולכוחניות ביחסים בין בני-האדם. שירתה של קילפי מעוררת גם למודעות בנוגע לבעיות הסביבה, וארגונים רבים שפעילותם קשורה לאקולוגיה עשו שימוש בשיריה.

לדוגמה השיר "המתווך צולח", המבטא את יחסה לטבע ולקשר בין חלק מבני-האדם לבינו:

המתווך צולח סבך עשב,

מקיף את הבית במשקפים שחורים,

בכרס תפוחה

פורש את ידיו: "פה יעבור הגבול."

"היער ההוא שם." "החוף הזה כאן."

הקונים מהנהנים. מרימים רגלים לגובה.

ירד גשם קודם לכן.

והינשוף יושב בחלל העץ,

מצפה ברטט

שחובבי הטבע יסתלקו.

רוב שיריה של קילפי הם חסרי כותרת (חסרי שם) ולכן הם מזוהים על-ידי המלים הראשונות שלהם.

קילפי מבטאת ביצירתה חמלה רבה כלפי כל יצורי הטבע - בעלי החייים והצמחים - ובמיוחד כלפי אלה הנשחטים ונאכלים על-ידי האדם. להלן קטע מהשיר "באחד הימים":

סלחי לי, אך יש אנשים

השומעים את הצלעות גועות על צלחתם,

ומתוך הנקניק נשאת לאזנם פעיה חלשה.

אנשים רכי לב.

וכשהם רואים פרסומות

ושולחנות גדושי שפע

באזניהם מתנגן השיר:

"בשרי מתוק, דמי סמיך..."
