ורדה ברגר (נולדה ב-18 בפברואר 1937) היא אמנית ומשוררת ישראלית.

ביוגרפיה

ברגר נולדה ברחובות, ישראל. היא סיימה תואר ראשון בכימיה-מדעים בטכניון ותואר שני בכימיה באוניברסיטת תל אביב. לצד עיסוקה בציור ושירה, עסקה במחקר ובהוראה עד פרישתה ב-1990. היא מתגוררת כיום בתל אביב[1].

את השכלתה האמנותית רכשה בהולנד, בפקולטה לאמנות באוניברסיטת תל אביב, באוניברסיטה העממית ובבית המדרש למורים ברמת השרון.

מאז שנות ה-90 הפכו הציור והשירה לעיסוקה העיקרי. בין מוריה היו יוסי גטניו, הציירת אסתר פרץ ארד והצייר והסופר יאיר גרבוז.

במהלך השנים הציגה ברגר כעשרים וחמש תערוכות אישיות ותערוכות קבוצתיות רבות. היא הוזמנה והשתתפה בסימפוזיונים בינלאומיים בסלובקיה, גרמניה, איטליה, בולגריה, פינלנד, ישראל, אנגליה ואוסטריה.

ברגר זוכת מדליית קפקא לאמנויות לשנת 2004, פרס קידום השלום בעולם באמצעות אמנות.[2]

ברגר חברה באגודת הציירים והפסלים של תל אביב משנת 1986 כמו כן היא נבחרה לאגודה הבינלאומית לאמנים אירופים. European artists, ומשנת 2013 AFC - Artists for Conservation, אגודת אמנים בינלאומית למען שימור והטבע - כמו כן, נבחרה לאיגוד הסופרים העבריים ולאגודת הסופרים הכללית, לאגודת wag - world art games, לאגודת Iflac - אגודה בינלאומית לשלום ונגד טרור ולאחרונה לאגודה הבריטית Explorers Against Extinction.

ב-2007 הציגה את התערוכה "אפריקה מפרפרת" בעקבות מסע ספארי באפריקה, ביצירות שהוצגו בתערוכה היא השתמשה במסכות אפריקאיות ובמפת אפריקה.

ב־2008 הוזמנה לפסטיבל בינלאומי של החברה להגנת הטבע באגמון החולה. הביטוי לכך יושם בתערוכותיה "כנפיים ללא גבולות", ובתערוכה בבית האמנים בתל אביב בבית גבריאל בכנרת ועוד בה הוצגה שיריה לצד ציוריה. בעקבותיהם הוזמנה לביאנלות הבינלאומיות באיזמיר, בלונדון,[3] ניו-יורק ופירנצה.[4]

ב-2012 יצא לאור ספרה My planet שירים וציורים עברית אנגלית בהוצאת אבן חושן ובעיצובו של דוד טרטקובר.

ב-2020 הוזמנה לתערוכה Woman's Essence ברומא[5] ובחסות האו"ם, בקטלוג הוקדשו 4 עמודים לציוריה ולשיריה.
