O monte Monseivane é, con 929 metros sobre o nivel do mar[1], o cumio de maior altitude da Serra da Carba.

Son abondosos os animais que habitan neste monte, entre os que destacan as vacas, os cabalos salvaxes e os cervos. Tamén é destacábel a importante masa forestal de piñeiro bravo plantada na década de 1940.

O ascenso ó monte pódese facer dende o lugar de Cornas, en Samarugo. Na metade do percorrido hai unha pequena área de descanso, onde se pode facer un alto antes de iniciar o tramo final da ascensión. Dende o cumio pódese albiscar toda a chaira que forma a comarca da Terra Chá.
