Badr B, tamén coñecido como Badr 2, foi o segundo satélite artificial de Paquistán. Foi lanzado o 10 de decembro de 2001 mediante un foguete ruso Zenit 2 desde o cosmódromo de Baikonur.[1][2][3][4]

Características

Badr B foi o segundo satélite artificial pertencente a Paquistán, aínda que lanzado mediante un foguete ruso Zenit 2. A finalidade do satélite é estudar a meteoroloxía espacial e facer observacións da Terra. Foi desenvolvido en colaboración co Reino Unido.[1][4]

Os instrumentos de a bordo poden monitorizar as nubes e o oxíxeno atmosférico a alta resolución.[1][4]
