Lev Gorkov, né le à Moscou et mort le à Tallahassee, est un physicien russo-américain, connu pour ses travaux pionniers dans le domaine de la supraconductivité. Il est notamment célèbre pour avoir développé les fondements microscopiques de la théorie de la supraconductivité de Ginzburg-Landau (Vitaly Ginzburg a reçu le prix Nobel de physique en 2003 pour avoir développé, avec Lev Landau, cette théorie phénoménologique). Gorkov a été professeur de physique à l'université d'État de Floride, et directeur du programme sur la matière condensée au National High Magnetic Field Laboratory[1].
