Kerozen DJ, de son vrai nom Yobo Constant Joël, né à Yopougon en Côte d'Ivoire est un chanteur, auteur-compositeur et interprète ivoirien,ayant pour style musical le coupé-décalé.

Biographie

Famille et études

En classe de terminale en 2004, Kerozen DJ abandonne ses études pour devenir disc-jockey et joue dans plusieurs maquis et bars à Abidjan en Côte d'Ivoire notamment à rue princesse, et à Abobo[1],[2]. Il commence sa carrière musicale en 2005 en duo avec Zéphy le Créateur avec le titre « La Danse de la Moto »[3].

Distinctions

Il est titulaire de plusieurs distinctions et nominations dont:

  • 2021 : Kerozen Dj s'adjuge le Primud d'or 2021[4].
  • 2019: Prix du Meilleur Artiste de l’Afrique de l’Ouest aux Kundé 2019[5].
  • 2016 : Nommé aux Awards du Coupé-décalé[6],[7]
  • 2016 : Vainqueur des ‘’Héros 225’’ [6],[7]
