Västervik on samannimisen Västervikin kunnan keskustaajama. Se sijaitsee Kalmarin läänissä ja Smålandin historiallisessa maakunnassa Etelä-Ruotsissa. Vuoden 2010 lopussa taajamassa oli 21 140 asukasta.[2]

Västervik oli 1970-luvun alun kuntauudistukseen asti kaupunki.
