Tuula Sarotie

Tuula Sisko Sarotie (s. 5. toukokuuta 1956 Helsinki[1] on entinen Radion sinfoniaorkesterin intendentti ja entinen Fazerin konserttitoimiston johtaja. Koulutukseltaan hän on kauppatieteiden maisteri.[2]

Sarotie toimi Turun musiikkijuhlien tuotantosihteerinä 1982–1986 ja Helsingin kaupunginorkesterin apulaisintendenttinä 1986–1987, kunnes siirtyi Fazer Musiikki Oy:n osastopäälliköksi ja 1991 Fazer Konserttitoimisto Oy:n toimitusjohtajaksi. Vuonna 2001 hänet valittiin Radion sinfoniaorkesterin intendentiksi.[3]

Sarotie jäi eläkkeelle Yleisradiosta syyskuussa 2024[4] ja sai joulukuussa 2024 elämäntyöstään Muusikkojen liiton tunnustuspalkinnon. Palkintoperusteluissa häntä kiitettiin luomastaan avointa keskustelua suosivasta työkulttuurista ja pyrkimyksestään aina taata orkesterille parhaat edellytykset onnistua. Sarotien tavan ottaa muusikot merkittävästi mukaan orkesterin päätöksentekoon uskotaan jatkuvan RSO:ssa myös hänen jälkeensä.[5][6]
