Slobodskoi

Slobodskoin vaakuna.

Slobodskoi (ven. Слободско́й, udmurtiksi Коллога, Kolloga) on kaupunki Kirovin alueella Venäjällä. Se sijaitsee Vjatkan oikealla rannalla 35 kilometriä Kirovista koilliseen. Kaupunki on Slobodskoin piirin keskus. Siellä on Kirovin ja Kotlasin väliseltä rautatieltä Girsovossa haarautuvan sivuradan pääteasema. Asukkaita on 35 100 henkeä (vuonna 2007).

Paikalla sijainnut venäläinen linnake mainitaan ensimmäisen kerran vuonna 1505. Slobodskoin kaupunki on perustettu vuonna 1599. Vuonna 1780 siitä tuli Vjatkan lääniin kuuluneen kihlakunnan keskus. 1800-luvun alussa se oli huomattava Arkangelin kautta käydyn ulkomaankaupan välittäjä. 1900-luvun alussa Slobodskoi oli läänin suurin teollisuuskaupunki.[1] Venäläisten lisäksi seudulla asui udmurtteja ja tataareja.[2]

Nykyään kaupungissa on mm. puunjalostus-, koneenrakennus-, rakennustarvike- ja elintarviketeollisuutta. Nähtävyyksiä ovat vuonna 1784 rakennettu Marian ilmestyksen kirkko kellotorneineen, Katariinan kirkko (1599, 1914), Verhne-Tšepetskin luostarin jäänteet (vuosina 1610–1613 rakennettu porttitorni kirkkoineen) ja Anfilatovin kauppiastalo (1775). Kaupungissa on syntynyt kirjailija Aleksandr Grin.[1]
