Pekka Paikkari (s. 6. syyskuuta 1960 Somero) on suomalainen kuvanveistäjä.[1] Hän on työskennellyt Arabian keramiikkatehtaassa vuodesta 1983 lähtien ja toiminut sekä suunnittelijana että kuvanveistäjänä.

Paikkarin suunnittelema Helsingin Arabianrannassa Loppukirin senioritalossa sijaitseva Cataracta on noin 350 neliömetrinen keramiikasta ja teräksestä valmistettu julkisivuveistos. Vuoden 2009 lopulla valmistui Sipoonlahden uuteen kouluun 4 × 4,5 metrin kokoinen taideteos Pienet purot, suuret joet.

Vuonna 1989 Paikkari sai kolmannen palkinnon Helsingin oikeustalon taidekilpailussa ja vuonna 1993 hänelle myönnettiin palkinto (Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Ravenna) Faenzan kansainvälisessä keramiikkabiennalessa Italiassa. Lisäksi hän sai vuonna 2007 kaksi palkintoa Espanjassa: Toisen palkinnon L’Alcalatén L’Alcorassa sekä pääpalkinnon (Ex-Aeguo), International Manises Ceramic Biennalessa.

Paikkari osallistui vuonna 2009 Englannissa British Ceramic Biennalen yhteydessä järjestettyyn Marl Hole -projektiin. Paikkarin installaatio Clay Words muodostui 25 × 25 metrin kokoiselle savilaatalle kirjoitetusta 8 800 kirjaimesta. Satunnaisessa järjestyksessä kirjoitetut kirjaimet oli valittu englanninkielisestä keramiikkasanastosta. Installaatio oli kunnianosoitus paikalliselle teolliselle historialle. Taiteilijan mukaan keraamisen valmistuksen merkitys ja sisältö muuttuu yhteiskunnallisen ja taloudellisen muutoksen mukana.lähde?

Vuonna 2011 valmistui Turun Puutorille Iglu-niminen taideteos osana Turku 2011 -kulttuuripääkaupunkivuotta. Teoksen materiaalna on posliini, ja sen yhtenäinen, halkeilevaa jäätä muistuttava pinta on 80 neliömetriä.
