Olaf Holger Axel Fønss (17. lokakuuta 1882 Aarhus – 3. marraskuuta 1949 Kööpenhamina) oli tanskalainen näyttelijä.

Olaf Fønss syntyi koulun rehtorin perheeseen. Käytyään reaalikoulun ja kauppakoulun Aarhusissa hän opiskeli näyttelemistä Emmanuel Larsenin johdolla ja debytoi Dagmar-teatterissa vuonna 1903. Fønss työskenteli Dagmar-teatterissa vuoteen 1914, toimi sen jälkeen vierailevana näyttelijänä muun muassa Betty Nansenin teatterissa ja lopetti teatteriuransa Folketeatretissa vuonna 1932.[1][2]

Fønss oli yksi tanskalaisen ja saksalaisen mykkäelokuvan suurimmista tähdistä. Hän aloitti Skandinavisk-Russisk Handelshusilla vuonna 1912 ja siirtyi seuraavana vuonna Nordisk Filmille, jossa hän esitti pääosia 30 elokuvassa. Niistä tunnetuimpia on yhtiön suurelokuva Atlantis vuodelta 1913. Vuonna 1916 Fønss siirtyi Deutsche Bioscopille, jossa hän teki kuusiosaisen Homunculus-sarjan. Valdemar Psilanderin kuoltua vuonna 1917 Fønss siirtyi tämän perustaman Dansk Filmin johtoon ja työskenteli vuosina 1917–1921 Dansk Astra Filmin taiteellisena johtajana.[1][2]

1920-luvun alussa Fønss siirtyi jälleen Saksaan, jossa hän teki muun muassa elokuvat Matka yöhön (Der Gang in die Nacht, 1920) ja Unelmien temppeli (Das indische Grabmal, 1921). Vuonna 1925 hän näytteli pääosaa Nordiskin suurelokuvassa Taiteilijakohtaloita (Fra Piazza del Popolo). 1920-luvun lopulta lähtien Fønss toimi kirjailijana, elokuvatarkastajana ja erilaisissa luottamustehtävissä.[1][2]

Olaf Fønssin veljiä olivat oopperalaulaja Johannes Fønss ja näyttelijä Aage Fønss. Hänen ensimmäinen vaimonsa oli näyttelijä Thilda Elisabeth Lilja Johnsen (Jonsson) Fønss. Kirjailija ja toimittaja Palle Fønss, ohjaaja Mogens Fønss ja näyttelijä Tove Fønss olivat hänen lapsiaan.[1]
