Niks Feņenko (s. 18. elokuuta 2004 Riika, Latvia) on latvialainen jääkiekkopuolustaja, joka pelaa Mestis-joukkue Jokereissa.[1]

Seuraura

Feņenko on SK Sāgan kasvatti. Hän siirtyi juniorina sittemmin HK Pirati Riikaan. Kaudeksi 2020–2021 Feņenko siirtyi Latvian pääsarja Optibet Hokeja Līgaan HS Riian joukkueeseen. Hän teki pääsarjadebyyttinsä 16-vuotiaana 9. syyskuuta 2020 vieraissa HK Liepājaa vastaan.[2] Ensimmäisen pääsarjamaalinsa Feņenko teki 27. tammikuuta 2021 vieraissa JLSS Zemgalea vastaan.[3] Hän pelasi tulokaskautensa aikana kaikkiaan 33 runkosarjaottelua tehopistein 2+3=5. Feņenko pelasi kauden aikana myös yhden ottelun Latvian kakkossarjatasolla SK Riika 17:n joukkueessa.[1]

QMJHL-joukkue Baie-Comeau Drakkar varasi Feņenkon koko CHL:n varaustilaisuuden ensimmäisenä pelaajana kesällä 2021. Hänestä tuli varaustilaisuuden kaikkien aikojen toinen latvialainen ykkösvaraus Agris Savielsin (1999) jälkeen.[4] Feņenko siirtyi Drakkariin kaudeksi 2021–2022, jolloin hän teki runkosarjassa 62 ottelussa tehot 6+34=40. Feņenko jakoi joukkueen sisäisen syöttöpörssin voiton Benjamin Corbeilin kanssa. Hän oli myös Drakkarin tehokkain puolustaja ja neljänneksi paras pistemies.[5] Pudotuspeleissä Feņenko pelasi neljä ottelua tehden yhden syöttöpisteen. Hänet valittiin QMJHL:n tulokkaiden tähdistökentälliseen. Kaudella 2022–2023 Feņenko oli Drakkarin tehokkain puolustaja tehoilla 6+31=37,[6] kuten myös kaudella 2023–2024 tehoilla 9+35=44.[7] Jälkimmäisellä kaudella hän teki pudotuspeleissä 17 ottelussa tehot 5+13=18,[1] joilla Feņenko voitti QMJHL:n puolustajien piste- ja syöttöpörssin sekä jakoi puolustajien maalipörssin voiton Vsevolod Komarovin kanssa.[8] Hän eteni Drakkarin kanssa finaaleihin saakka, mutta Gilles-Courteau Trophyn vei lopulta kuitenkin Drummondville Voltigeurs otteluvoitoin 4–0.

Kaudeksi 2024–2025 Feņenko siirtyi 1+2-vuotisella sopimuksella Mestis-joukkue Jokereihin.[9]

Maajoukkueura

Feņenko pelasi alle 20-vuotiaiden MM-kilpailuissa vuosina 2022, 2023 ja 2024. Vuoden 2022 turnauksessa hänet valittiin Slovakiaa vastaan pelatun alkulohkon ottelun päätteeksi Latvian ottelun parhaaksi pelaajaksi.[10] Vuoden 2024 turnauksessa Feņenko toimi joukkueensa varakapteenina. Valmentajat valitsivat hänet Latvian turnauksen yhdeksi kolmesta parhaasta pelaajasta. Feņenko valittiin myös Kanadaa vastaan pelatun alkulohkon ottelun päätteeksi joukkueen ottelun parhaaksi pelaajaksi.[11] Feņenko pelasi myös IA-divisioonan MM-kilpailuissa vuonna 2022, jolloin hän voitti hopeaa.[1] Feņenko jakoi myös Latvian sisäisen tehotilaston voiton Raimonds Vītoliņšin kanssa lukemalla +5.[12]

Feņenko pelasi myös alle 18-vuotiaiden MM-kilpailuissa vuonna 2021.[1]
