Ligue Magnus on Ranskan jääkiekon korkein sarjataso. Sarja on perustettu vuonna 1906.[1] Sarjassa pelasi kaudella 2007–2008 edelliskauden tapaan yhteensä 14 joukkuetta. Kaudeksi 2007–2008 sarjaan nousi Tours ja vastaavasti Anglet putosi. Liigassa pelasi 15 suomalaista kaudella 2007–2008. Vuonna 2007 Ranskan mestaruuden voitti Brûleurs de Loups de Grenoble. Kaudella 2018–2019 sarjassa pelasi 12 joukkuetta ja mestariksi selviytyi jälleen Grenoble.

Kaikkien aikojen kuuluisin suomalaissyntyinen pelaaja Ranskan liigassa on Petri Ylönen, joka voitti yhdeksän kautensa aikana kahdeksan mitalia, joista viisi kultaista ja kolme hopeista. Ylönen edusti myös Ranskan maajoukkuetta viisissä maailmanmestaruuskisoissa ja kaksissa olympialaisissa.
