Hjalmar Björkman

Hjalmar Alfred Björkman (6. huhtikuuta 1882 Kokkola – 17. helmikuuta 1933) oli suomalainen insinööri ja sukututkija.[1][2]

Henkilöhistoria

Björkmanin vanhemmat olivat kauppias Anders Alfred Björkman ja Matilda Olivia Sneekendahl ja puoliso vuodesta 1913 sairaanhoitaja Susanna Avonius. Björkman tuli ylioppilaaksi 1901 ja valmistui koneinsinööriksi Zürichissä 1906. Hän oli Kone ja Silta -yhtiön konstruktööri 1906–1910 ja Forssan tehtaan konepajainsinööri 1910–1915 ja Ph. U. Strengberg Oy:n tehdasinsinööri 1916–1933. Hän oli myös Pietarsaaren kaupunginvaltuuston jäsen 1919–1921 ja 1923–1933. Björkman julkaisi useita sukuhistoriallisia teoksia.[1][2]
