Tarik Luqmaan Trotter (s. 3. lokakuuta 1973 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Yhdysvallat),[1][2] taiteilijanimi: Black Thought, on yhdysvaltalainen rap-artisti ja näyttelijä sekä yhdysvaltalaisen hip hop -ryhmä The Rootsin keulahahmo ja toinen perustaja. Allmusic-sivuston mukaan häntä pidetään laajalti yhtenä aikansa taitavimmista, terävimmistä ja tuotteiliaimmista rap-artisteista.[3] Hänen lyriikoidensa ominaispiirteitä ovat monitavuiset riimit, monimutkaisuus, kaksiselitteisyys ja poliittisuus. Hän on yksi The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon -keskusteluohjelman esiintyjistä.
