23 minuuttia helvetissä (engl. 23 Minutes in Hell) on kalifornialaisen liikemiehen Bill Wiesen kristinuskoon nojaava teos, joka kertoo kirjoittajan kokemasta näystä, jossa hänet viedään 23 minuutiksi helvettiin. Kirjan julkaisi ensimmäisenä kristillinen kustantamo Charisma House vuonna 2006.[1][2]

Kirjassa Jumala vie kirjoittajan aamuyöllä 23. marraskuuta 1998 helvettiin. 23 minuutin jälkeen hänet palautetaan takaisin maan päälle, tehtävänään ihmisten varoittaminen ja kertominen pian tapahtuvasta Jeesuksen tulosta. Lisäksi kirjoittaja vertaa kokemuksiaan Raamatun helvettiä ja kadotusta koskeviin teksteihin.[1]

Wiese kertoo olevansa kristitty vuodesta 1970, mutta siitä huolimatta hän ei ollut koskaan opiskellut helvetin olemusta ennen 23. marraskuuta 1998 tapahtunutta kokemustaan. Kirjan mukaan Wiese, joka tuona aikana oli kiinteistönvälittäjä, totesi olevansa sellissä (jonka mitat olivat suurin piirtein 4,6 m × 3,0 m × 4,6 m), jossa oli pahuuden henkilöityminä kaksi kauheasti haisevaa hirviötä, jotka puhuivat pilkkaavasti. Wiese arvioi, että olentojen voima oli noin tuhatkertainen tavalliseen ihmiseen verrattuna. Wiesen mukaan hirviöt paiskasivat hänet kiviseinää vastaan, jolloin hänen luunsa murtuivat, minkä jälkeen he repivät hänen ruumistaan. Hän kertoo onnistuneensa pääsemään sellistä ulos, jossa hän kuuli miljardien Helvettiin tuomittujen ihmisten huudot. Wiese toteaa, että tämän jälkeen hän kohtasi Jeesuksen, joka kehotti häntä kertomaan muille ihmisille, että helvetti on olemassa. Wiese kertoo, että hänen kokemuksensa päättyi siihen, kun hän makasi olohuoneensa lattialla huutaen kauhusta.
