Raivo Rajamäe (geoloog)

Raivo Rajamäe (sündinud 10. septembril 1948 Rakveres) on eesti geoloog.[1]

Elulugu

Raivo Rajamäe on talupidaja poeg.[1]

Rajamäe lõpetas 1966 Paide Keskkooli ja 1971 Tallinna Polütehnilise Instituudi arvutustehnika insenerina; geoloogia-mineraloogia-kandidaat (1982, Eesti Teaduste Akadeemia), väitekiri "Геохронология позднего плейстоцена северо-западной части Восточно-Европейской равнины по данним усовершенствованного радиоуглеродного метода". 1971–96 Eesti NSV Teaduste Akadeemia Geoloogia Instituudi teadur, seejärel Eesti kiirguskeskuse osakonna juhataja.[1]

Uurimisvaldkond: isotoopgeoloogilised uuringud, kvaternaariajastu geokronoloogia ning järvede settimisrežiim. Üle 60 teadustrükise.[1]
