Leoš Janáček koos abikaasaga 1881. aastal

Leoš Janáček [l'eoš j'anaatšek] (ristinimega Leo Eugen Janáček; 3. juuli 1854 Hukvaldy – 12. august 1928 Ostrava) oli tšehhi helilooja, muusikateoreetik, folklorist ja pedagoog. Antonín Dvořáki ja Bedřich Smetana kõrval on ta tuntuim tšehhi helilooja.

Kuni 1895. aastani süvenes ta peamiselt rahvamuusika uurimisse. Tema varajane helilooming on saanud mõjutusi selliseilt kaasaegseilt nagu Antonín Dvořák. Hilisemais teoseis võib kohata originaalset rahvaviiside ja modernse helikeele sünteesi, mille varaseimaks näiteks on ooper "Jenůfa" (esietendus 1904 Brnos). "Jenůfa" edu Prahas 1916. aastal avas Janáčekile tee maailma suurtele ooperilavadele.

Kokku kirjutas Janáček üheksa ooperit, vokaalsümfoonilisi teoseid, sümfoonilise rapsoodia "Tarass Bulba" (1918) jm.
