Koha on perekonnanimi.

Statistika

2022. aasta 1. jaanuari seisuga oli Eestis perekonnanimi Koha 135 inimesel: 65 mehel ja 70 naisel. Perekonnanimede levikult oli Koha meeste puhul 1475. kohal ja naiste puhul 1510. kohal.

Koha oli kõige rohkem levinud üle 85-aastaste vanuserühmas, kus seda oli 10 000 elaniku kohta 1,49. Perekonnanimi Koha oli kõige sagedasem Võru maakonnas, kus sellist nime kandis maakonna 10 000 elaniku kohta keskmiselt 4,01 inimest.[1]

19. sajandi algul pandi pärisorjusest vabastamise käigus talupoegadele Lihula, Tagavere ja Laius-Tähkvere mõisavaldades perekonnanimi Kohha ning Surju mõisavallas Koha.[2]

1930. aastate nimede muutmise kampaania käigus Eestis valiti perekonnanimi Koha uueks nimeks 60 korral. Enim loobuti nimedest Koch (kahekümne kahel korral), Nikopensius (viiel korral), Kürenberg, Türk, Sandrak ja Vikov (kahel korral) jne.[3] Samal ajal nimest Koha ei loobunud keegi.[4]
