Kaarma-Suure vald

Saaremaa maakonna valdade piirid enne ja pärast 1939. aasta vallareformi

Kaarma-Suure vald (ka Kaarma-Suuremõisa vald; saksa keeles Karmel-Grossenhof) oli vald Saaremaal Kaarma kihelkonnas ümber Kuressaare linna. Valla pindala oli koos Abruka saarega 198 km² ja elanikke oli 2996 (1922. aasta seisuga).[1] Vald eksisteeris 1866[2]–1939, mil see liideti Kuressaare ja osalt Salme vallaga[3].

Vallas oli 598 talundit ja need kasutasid 14 934 ha maad.[1]

1891 liideti Kaarma-Suure vallaga Kellamäe, Praakli, Pähkla, Randvere, Tahula vald, samuti Kuressaare kirikumõisa maakogukond, mis varem oli Praakli valla koosseisus.[2]
