Betaania (kreeka keeles Βηθανία; vanasüüria keeles ܒܝܬ ܥܢܝܐ, Bēṯ ʿAnyā; Palestiina araabia keeles Al-‘Ayzarīyah (Laatsaruse paik)) on linn Jeruusalemma kubernerkonnas Palestiinas, piirneb Jordani Läänekaldal asuva Ida-Jeruusalemmaga.^[2] Nimi Al-‘Ayzarīyah viitab Uue testamendi Laatsarusele Betaaniast, kes Johannese evangeeliumi järgi selles linnas Jeesuse käe läbi surnust tõusis. Linnas asub Laatsaruse haud, mis on palverännusihtkoht.^[3]

Betaania linn asub Oliivimäe kagunõlval, Jeruusalemmast ligi 3 km kaugusel. Palestiina Statistikaameti andmetel elab linna 22 928 inimest, mis tähendab, et see on pärast Ida-Jeruusalemma Jeruusalemma kubernerkonna suuruselt teine linn. Kuna Iisrael annekteeris 1967. aastal Ida-Jeruusalemma, on Betaania de facto kubernerkonna suurim linn.^[4]
