El VIII Distrito de París (VIIIe arrondissement de Paris, en francés) es uno de los veinte distritos de los que se compone la capital francesa. Está situado en la orilla derecha del río Sena. También es conocido bajo el nombre de arrondissement de l'Élysée, dado que en él se encuentra la residencia del presidente de la República, así como varios ministerios. Este distrito es uno de los más emblemáticos de la ciudad y el primero en renta por cápita.

En él se encuentra el palacio del Elíseo, el Arco de Triunfo y la plaza de la Concordia con su obelisco. Acoge además numerosos comercios y hoteles de lujo. Es una zona habitual de residencia de la alta burguesía.

El distrito está dividido en cuatro barrios:

François Lebel (UMP) fue alcalde del distrito de 1983 a 2014; en 2008 la derecha obtuvo en ese distrito más del 80% de los votos.[4]​ Tras las elecciones municipales de 2014, Jeanne d'Hauteserre también por la Unión por un Movimiento Popular —posterior Los Republicanos— fue elegida oficialmente alcaldesa.[5]​

El distrito contaba en el último censo de 2005 con 38 700 habitantes sobre una superficie de 388 hectáreas, lo que representa una densidad de 9 974 hab/km².
