Marc-Roch-Horace de Salviac (París, c. 1802-París, 1864), fue un escritor y dibujante francés. Ostentó el título de conde de Viel Castel.

Referencias

Nacido en París[1]​ en 1798[2]​ o 1802,[3]​ trabajó como dibujante, caricaturista y escritor, además de ejercer como conservador del Musée des Souverains.[2]​ Publicó en 1826 y en adelante la Collection des Costumes, Armes et Meubles pour servir à l'histoire de France depuis le Ve siècle, dediée au Roi.[2]​ Sus ilustraciones costumbristas y caricaturas aparecieron en diversas publicaciones periódicas como Bagatelle, La Mode o La Caricature de 1830.[2]​ Grand-Carteret señaló cómo habría tenido un gran éxito su álbum Aventures du vicomte de la Linotière, lion féroce, con 31 láminas, que habría publicado bajo el pseudónimo «Archelaüs Niger».[2]​ Falleció el 1 de octubre de 1864 en París.[3]​
