Kloro-fluoro-karbono

Fluor-klor-karbono (mallonge FKKH), klor-fluor-karbon-aĵoj (KFK) aŭ klorfluorkarbono[1], iafoje vulgare konata kiel freono[2], estas granda aro da organikaj ligoj.

Ili estas karbonhidrogenoj kiel metano kaj butano, en kiuj anstataŭiĝis la hidrogen-atomoj per la halogeno kloro aŭ fluoro. FKKH-molekuloj, kiuj neentenas hidrogenon, nomiĝas KFK-oj.

FKKH-oj estas tre persistaj, nebruleblaj kaj kutime ne aŭ nur malmulte venenas. Tial ĉi-gasoj pli kaj pli uzatis en teĥnika medio ekde la 1930-aj jaroj, precipe kiel malvarmigaĵoj kaj kiel enteno de malbruligiloj, sed ankaŭ kiel propelaĵoj por ŝaumaĵoj. En la 1980-aj jaroj oni eksciis ke FKKH detruas la ozonon en la supera atmosfero.

La 29-an de junio 1990 en Londono la internacia komisiono por la protektado de la atmosfero decidis, ke la farado kaj aplikado de FKKH-oj kaj KFK-oj estu malpermesotaj ekde 2000.
