Yuhei Nakamura (中村悠平, Nakamura Yūhei, born 17 June 1990) is a Japanese professional baseball player. He plays catcher for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows.

Career

Nakamura was selected to the 2018 NPB All-Star game [jp].^[1] In the 2021 Japan Series, he batted 7-for-22 (a team-best .318 average) with three RBIs and threw out a couple of base-runners to win the Japan Series Most Valuable Player Award.^[2]^[3]^[4]

International career

Nakamura appeared in 5 games for Japan in the 2023 World Baseball Classic, winning gold.^[5]
