SarahStierch long time pinball enthusiast and will lend a hand when possible to articles (especially the pinball article itself.
VMzB - 8-bit era veteran, especially interested in the electronic guts of pinball machines (and some arcade games) and their repair. Imho IPDB is a great resource and we should try to refer to it, or even establish automatic data transfer.
Wilbers Digital pinball player, created and improved many pinball articles
Blake W - Child of the 80s, grew up with Pinball and recently fell in love with the prewar era of pinball. Created or improved these pinball articles
Find and cite industry and reviewer sources. The number 1 way to prevent article (especially stub) deletion at WP:AFD is to cite 2 or more RELIABLE sources. There must be some kind of book, magazine, or major online site. It needs to be editorially controlled, i.e. not a wiki or other community-built tertiary source. Some books and magazines can be found online using https://archive.org/ For video games, try the customized search engine at Video Game sources or check a source with the list on that page to see if it is considered reliable.
Find images to use for existing articles - almost all current articles about a pinball machine include the flyer, many would benefit from photos personally taken of a machine if not already there - in most cases the artwork is still copyrighted so use fair use upload unless you are sure Wikimedia commons is appropriate.
Create guidance for how many images can be used in an article. The flyer is in almost all articles, and I'm of the opinion that a photo of the entire machine (with or without showing side artwork), one of the playfield, and one of each unique (or first used) playfield feature on that table is suitable if photos are taken (NOT copied from the internet, unless uploaded by the person who has taken them). Additional photos shouldn't replicate what is on the flyer. A single photo of the display to show its layout should be suitable for most games with a LCD, and a few with a DMD.
Wikilink new articles of pinball machines from List of pinball machines and other appropriate articles.
Disambiguate (via DAB pages or hatnotes) articles to account for existing pinball articles. Example: Judge Dredd.
Create more manufacturer articles, with at least 3 sources
Create more designer/industry-person articles, with at least 3 sources.
Create more major tournament/league/organization/event articles, with at least 2 sources
Write more pinball machine articles, but try to create at least start class articles rather than stubs. Use data at IPDB to begin to create new pages, but include more source references; critical (NOT user) reviews are good for this. If needed save as a draft before publishing as an article.
Lowest priority: Start creating "YEAR in pinball" lists (e.g. 1995 in pinball), and begin changing links appropriately to point to them. Do not create for years without any articles about machines in that year.
General admin tasks
Develop criteria for "the ideal pinball article". Start with our best articles as models.
Create a "beginner's guide to making a new pinball machine article" page
Continue assessing existing articles for quality, importance. Rater can be used to assist with this, but remember its results are only a guide
