Report

After a coffee at Sid & Phyllis, there was walk around parts of the former Midland Railway Workshops.

The workshops site now incorporates St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals, as well as several Residential, Police and University developments.

Following the workshop walk, the group of enthusiasts then went to Woodbridge, Western Australia to visit Woodbridge House - which is situated between Guildford Grammar School preparatory school grounds, and Governor Stirling Senior High School grounds, and on the southern bank of the upper reaches of the Swan River.

The final point of interest was the Stirling Square (Guildford) in Guildford, Western Australia, the precinct that adjoins it, past Alfred's Kitchen and finally the Guildford Hotel.[1].

Retiring to a private address for refreshments.
