Wikipedia:Meetup/DC/Statistics2017

At the Make Statistics Clear Edit-a-thon (or the Statistics 2017 Edit-a-thon we'll work on articles related to the field of statistics and statistical activities such as censuses and surveys. The American Statistical Association is our host, and Wikimedia DC chapter will join in and will train anyone new to Wikipedia.

When: Saturday, November 11, 2017, from 11:30am – 4pm
Where: American Statistical Association (ASA) headquarters, 732 N. Washington St, Alexandria, Virginia -- It's 10 minutes walk from the Braddock Road Metrorail station, along Madison Street.

FAQ

What should I bring?

A laptop computer, if possible. We expect to have a few spare tablet notebooks for attendees too.

Do I have to register to attend, or can I just arrive on the day?

No. Newcomers are welcome. Editing training will be provided. We'll refer to these:

Add at least a redirect for indirect seasonal adjustment - meaning seasonal adjustment of underlying time series which are then combined
and for residual seasonality - seasonality properties of a time series left over after indirect seasonal adjustment
