Sorry about that Liz, I originally moved the page to my user space and it created a redirect page in it's place which I couldn't figure out how to remove at the time. I also left behind a series of empty pages (as I'm sure you saw) as I struggled to correctly move the page to the correct place on my user page before I finally got it there (that's my fault and I'll try to be less sloppy in the future). I see you've salted the page (good call, that's honestly on me), is there a way to request it be unsalted once the page is finally notable and ready to be moved back into main space (for good this time) (though I totally understand because my series of moves were completly unproffesional). Once again I'd like to apologize for any and all mess I may have created and thank you for cleaning up after me. I took a peek at the debate and immediately regretted it. Kudos for being willing to wade into that disaster zone. I will advise you to be very cautious since it's already been taken to ANI - it's often difficult to make any headway at DRN once it's reached this point, although if nothing else it would at least help uninvolved editors have some clue what's going on. Thanks! Like I said I have no clue what's going on either (lol) I'm mainly trying to get both sides to agree to a summary statement (which looks like it may not work as they seem to disagree across a case of complicated edits that may be difficult to summarize).

At this point I'm trying to get them to stop nagging uninterested editors and direct their attention to review policy.

When you say be cautious, what should I be cautious of? I'm aware that disputes can suddenly turn heated (in which case if any incivilty is turned towards me I intend to abandon the discussion altogether), but I myself am I very civil user unless if there's something else I should be cautious of? Exactly what you said. I think "heated" was left in the dust some time ago, and at this point you'd be hard put to get them to agree that the sky is blue. Neither appears to have any intention of dropping the stick, and I strongly suspect disciplinary measures will be required. Frankly, I'm surprised admins didn't intervene after the ANI, especially since I assume it's contentious for ALL the reasons. ChompyTheGogoat (talk) 17:10, 14 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

I agree they're not going to agree on anything. I'm still optimistic that if I could get a summary of the issue (getting a summary of the issue is the main issue though) which I coule then get a different group of editors to form consensus around that I could then ask the original editors to follow it (this is looking more and more unlikely though). I'm not going to get tangled up in the admin things unless if I do something bad right? Or are they going to ask me to comment on the dispute or something? Also I've never done this before I'm still a relatively inexperienced user (100 main space edits, 200 total), how have I done so far with this issue? apologies for the delay. 1) The summary at the top of the article is great, informative and neutral. 2) The section on the controversy is a bit confusing and could be rewritten for better clarity. 3) "As of July 2026, the official TalentoCubano.Net website describes the project as a "living archive" and an atlas of Cuban art around the world" - seems promotional, I would recommend getting another editors opinion. 4) In all more details could be included and rewording for clarity is needed in sections

"Before the launch, a team of producers ... styles." - more information would be nice here

"In a 2012 interview with Havana Times, Adolfo Cabrera said that the concept originated with Adrian Monzon. He connected..." . - who is he, adolfo or Adrian? Could be rewritten a bit for clarity

Overall: good job. There still is a lot that can be done in terms of rewording for clarity but the main issue really is that there aren't enough sources to meet notability and unfortunately that's the one thing that can't be created (though if this fails AFC the first time and later becomes notable it can then receive an article). The way it's written sounds a bit awkward at points (mainly in the sections I pointed out in 4). I can help with rewording for clarity if you want. Hey. I found an article that might be somewhat helpful (still not that big nudge that's needed for notability unfortunately) but towards the end of the article it mentions the region of the country you lived in 2014 along with your job at the time (this wouldn't be included in the article ofc cause it's not notable), do you want me to add the article? I just wanted to check. Also as I've started doing research on the article it's seeming like if the website doesn't end up being notable for its own article, it might be able to be mentioned in an article about the ...United States involvement in hip hop espionage in Cuba at the time?
