Hello Reinthal and welcome to Wikipedia! Hope you like it here, and stick around.
Here are some tips to help you get started:
To sign your posts (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).
My aim is certainly not to put English pages on the Finnish wikipedia. People in Finland may want to put up a EuroVelo page but may not have the time. If this English page is there already they can use it as a template to help them start a Finnish version.
Please give other people in your country the chance to make their own minds up as to whether they want to translate this page or not. I have done the same for some other European languages (Polish, Slovenian, see the Muut kielet in the sidebar) and within days people who see the aim of the wonderful pan-European EuroVelo project have given their valuable time to translate it.
Please do not post english language text on the finnish wikipedia in the future. That is simply not the way it is supposed to work. Currently your article seems to have been replaced by a stub. -- Jniemenmaa 14:59, 3 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Since you were either directly or indirectly once involved into edits revolving around "proper" naming of cities like Gdansk/Danzig etc i thought you may be interested in my proposition in User:Szopen/NamingWar. I would want to create a way aimed at stopping the revert wars in future - through creating something like a msg (in see also list or header) explaining that's there is compromise and why, and by linking to the article explaining changes of the statuses of the Royal Prussia province (I would prefer it ot have it as separate article, not scatter it in plethora other articles). I would be happy to hear from you.

Hi! Thanks for uploading Image:Eurovelomap.png. I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use {{gfdl}} if you release it under the GFDL, or {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Thanks so much, – Quadell(talk) (help) 21:16, Jan 19, 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Bomba-learn_to_breathe.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. I notice that you have renamed English language learning and teaching. I am surprised at so unilateral a move. This title has been long under discussion -- see the archived talk pages. Also, there is a hidden tag at the top of the article, explaining the title. At the very least, if you wanted to rename it, you should have re-opened the discussion and attempted to reach consensus. Please explain why you felt justified to take such a sudden and major action. In the meantime, I will attempt to revert this change. Thank you for uploading Image:MiniCAT.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Mark Leonard (Australian), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Mark Leonard (Australian). Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being minor in the usual way.
For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. With the script in place, you can continue with this functionality indefinitely (its use is governed by WP:MINOR). If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.
Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 18:52, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2011-03-15T18:52:00.000Z","author":"LivingBot","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-LivingBot-2011-03-15T18:52:00.000Z-Notification:_changes_to_\"Mark_my_edits_as_minor_by_default\"_preference","replies":[]}}-->

Hi. When you recently edited Cycling in London, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tweed (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi Rheinthal,
I didn't understand why you renamed the Energy Transition article. This article was just a stub, and little by little I've been adding sections to it translated from the German version. The Denmark section is not an extra afterthought, but rather the second of several country-specific sections. Next will be France. (I would also like to add a section on Sweden, which is not in the German version yet.)
I have been linking to this article and recommending that people I know read it. By changing the article's name, you prevent them from seeing it. I'm changing it back to its previous name (which was already its name before I started work on it.)
Please keep in mind that although Germany has been perhaps the most courageous country so far in moving forward with this, the issue is nevertheless of global importance.
You can let me know what you think, but please don't move an article without first consulting people who are working on it.
Kind Regards,

Hi Reinthal, I would like you explain me why you added the section electric vehicles, something not standard in automobile templates, as the reasons you give seem very weak. Mr. Ghosn's vision is not the discussion, although it can be very interesting. The fact is most of the "ZE" (?) cars are only modified versions of regular ones as I previously stated, only there are two with an original electric-oriented design, the Twizy and the Zoe, which are mentioned in the current range. I don't see the point in mention a car two or three times because of its special versions (almost all the big companies have one or more electric / hybrid car), as it is borderline WP:SOAP. The Renault Sport section has a similar problem, but at least is a traditional activity of the marque and has a fair amount of third party coverage. The same critic can be made to your "has a webpage" claim: companies' own web pages and promotion cannot be used as a way to prove notability. Moreover, many of the articles covering the Renault's ZE cars are of borderline notability, with a exagerated amount of trivia as month-to-month sales and sections copied from "green" blogs and press and government releases. They should probably be trimmed and merged into the articles of the models of which they derived.
The templates are to easy navigation, not to mention every aspect of the automaker's activities.
Finally, you said it right, the electric cars are not a class, are a range, and this template doesn't include ranges as, for example, family cars (the commercial vehicles can be considered of the LCV class and also are really important for the marque today). Maybe the electric cars will be paramount in the future, although the current sales are very low and static. Or they don't. Maybe they are replaced by hybrids (a more proved technology that not requires a big inversion on infrastructure). In any case, it's all WP:CRYSTAL, as the electric car template's group is. Regards. Please do not delete or flag potential "spoilers" in Wikipedia articles, as you did in the article Dates (TV series). It is generally expected that the subjects of Wikipedia articles will be covered in detail, and giving a section a title such as "Plot" or "Ending" is considered sufficient warning to the reader that the text will contain revelations about the narrative. Deleting such information makes the article less useful for a reader who is specifically trying to find out more about the subject. For more information, see Wikipedia's guidelines on spoilers. Your recent editing history at Dates (TV series) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. You best stop now.Narom (talk) 18:48, 16 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2013-06-16T18:48:00.000Z","author":"Narom","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Narom-2013-06-16T18:48:00.000Z-June_2013","replies":[]}}-->

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Les Babacools requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Hi, at first I wanted to discuss this on an article talkpage, but the effort required to post on each route's talkpage made me come here first. Would you object to renaming all EuroVelo route articles to either EuroVelo [number] or alternatively [route name]? This would be in line with our road naming (see Bundesautobahn 1 or Tauern Autobahn). Personally, I'd prefer the EuroVelo [number] option since not all routes seem to have official names. You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Thanks for uploading File:Kristiane Backer.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Note that you have reverted three times today on this article, by reinserting the reference from the Daily Mail on each occasion, and that any further reverts will be a clear breach of WP:3RR. WP policy on the Daily Mail not being a reliable source is very clear, and the section of the article concerned deals with the question of fact as to in what ways World on Fire was or was not historically accurate. Neither Hitchens nor the Daily Mail is a reliable encyclopaedic quality source for this. If you wish to challenge WP policy on the Daily Mail, I would invite you to do it in the correct place - or take it up with “admin”, as you undertook to do earlier, rather than edit-warring on this single article.
