Please do not add or change content, as you did at Li Lisan line, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources to see how to add references to an article. As part of the lead section, information in the infobox must align with the contents of the article ("lead follows body"). Also, do not add flag icons to infoboxes where there is no confusion where people come from. For example Operation Overlord can usefully use flag icons, because in one group of belligerents there are major personnel coming from different countries; that would not be apparent with just text links. - RovingPersonalityConstruct (talk, contribs) 15:38, 2 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

I understand the concern about decorative icons. However, MOS:ICONDECORATION does not state that flags are only appropriate for multinational operations. The key issue is whether the icons provide meaningful identification. In this case, the flags indicate the commanders' political/military affiliations
