I see you've been removing stuff from your talkpage. This is allowed, it's your talkpage and you can remove most things you don't want there. But it's preferred that you let them stay and just archive old stuff, Help:Archiving (plain and simple) can help you with that. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 06:13, 18 July 2026 (UTC)
There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is LightningThrower. Jerod Lycett (talk) 22:04, 18 July 2026 (UTC)

Sulfurboy (talk) 18:07, 25 July 2026 (UTC)Hello, LightningThrower,
Thank you for creating List of Loricifera species.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
This is a nice article. It just needs to have some categories.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Barbara (WVS)}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Thanks for your contributions to Wataloricus. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it has no sources. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Mariamnei ✦ reach out 🕊️ 12:29, 28 July 2026 (UTC)
Thank you, LightningThrower, for your support on the ANI page. I am extremely disinterested from actually contributing to any further discussion there. However, since you mentioned that you might make certain changes to the edit in question, I will just semi-briefly tell you why I have merely performed reverts (albeit once with a slight qualification) rather than changed it. First of all, I will admit that, yes, the edit (photo caption) is unusually long. However, not that you have debated it, but a synthesis of Wikipedia policy and common definition of common terms puts the length of the caption in an area proximal to generally acceptable limits. Just because it looks long and against convention doesn't mean that it's against policy (again, I repeat, this is something I'm saying, in general, and not an arguing point against you because I think that you are taking a fair and balanced look at things). I will state, however, that there are multiple reasons that I have merely reverted rather than modified it, including but not limited to:
If you do decide to work on it, feeling that you can make an improvement, go ahead. But I would appreciate it if you would keep the above points in mind. QuakerIlK (talk) 21:16, 31 July 2026 (UTC)
Although I actually have at least 5 more sources, (some of which I already had, others of which I found since I made that edit roughly a month ago), all within the public domain, including a photograph, that further support the implied suggestion in that caption that multiple of the early Austro-Hungarian/Czech/Bohemian gymnastics stars were not Czech/Bohemian and possibly not even Austro-Hungarian, if I were to add them with explanations, they would further lengthen the photo caption by a good bit.

Congratulations, and thank you for helping expand the scope of Wikipedia! We hope you will continue making quality contributions. Feel free to further improve your accepted article.
