Plus minus

The reason there is both plus-minus and minus-plus is so a single equation can stand for two with the signs working together. When both are used in the same equation then if the plus part of plus-minus is used then the minus part of minus-plus must be used. Dmcq (talk) 05:56, 6 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
