If you could add a page number for S. Willis Rudy. The College of the City of New York: A History 1847 – 1947. The City College Press, 1949. JSTOR, https://jstor.org/stable/community.33126624 and the cite you just added that would be great. Jjazz76 (talk) 20:02, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Samuel J. Tilden High School, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Thomas Brown.

Hello, Iss246!
Having an article draft declined at Articles for Creation can be disappointing. If you are wondering why your article submission was declined, please post a question at the Articles for creation help desk. If you have any other questions about your editing experience, we'd love to help you at the Teahouse, a friendly space on Wikipedia where experienced editors lend a hand to help new editors like yourself! See you there! Hoary (talk) 00:56, 25 January 2026 (UTC)

Congratulations, and thank you for helping expand the scope of Wikipedia! We hope you will continue making quality contributions.
If you have any questions, you are welcome to ask at the help desk. Once you have made at least 10 edits and had an account for at least four days, you will have the option to create articles yourself without posting a request to Articles for creation.
Thanks again, and happy editing!

IMDB is a site that relies on user generated content for it's existence so is not a reliable source for Wikipedia. You watchng the film is meaningless. The station scenes were shot at Carnforth which was renamed Milford for the shoot. There is no evidence that the Milford referred to was the one in Surrey. If you continue edit warring over this article you coud find yourself banned from editing. Murgatroyd49 (talk) 08:22, 14 March 2026 (UTC)
"IMDb has been subject to deliberate additions of false information; in 2012 a spokesperson said: "We make it easy for users and professionals to update much of our content, which is why we have an 'edit page'. The data that is submitted goes through a series of consistency checks before it goes live. Given the sheer volume of the information, occasional mistakes are inevitable, and, when reported, they are promptly fixed. We always welcome corrections." Iss246 (talk) 02:31, 15 March 2026 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly reverting content back to how you think it should be, despite knowing that other editors disagree. Once it is known that there is a disagreement, users are expected to collaborate with others, avoid editing disruptively, and try to reach a consensus – rather than repeatedly reverting the changes made by other users.
Important points to note:
You need to discuss the disagreement on the article's talk page and work towards a revision that represents consensus among everyone involved. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution if discussions reach an impasse. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to engage in edit warring, you may be blocked from editing. ElKevbo (talk) 21:10, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Talk:City_College_of_New_York. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:City_College_of_New_York#c-Iss246-20260619163700-ElKevbo-20260618210900
This isn't the way editors speak to other editors. Collegial and civil environment is expected from everyone. Graywalls (talk) 18:16, 19 June 2026 (UTC)

wikt:qualitative research, wikt:quantitative research. While I'm here I'm curious what you would have to say whether to link to Irvin S. Schonfeld from Wiktionary or if that would overemphasis his importance and make my quote that I copied twice look desperate or how the entries are generally.
