Not only your edits to Progressive Christianity, but also Social Progressivism and Social Conservatism were questionable at best. Your edit to Joseph Cardinal Bernadin was reverted not because it is 'vandalism' per-se, but because it is simply imprecise: "anti-abortion" is what is being referred to in that context, and "pro-life" is not a precise alternate (people favoring reproductive choice are not "anti-life" or "pro-death"; rather "pro-life" is a POV-loaded term used by anti-abortion activists to imply these things about pro-choice persons). The edit to Catholic Worker Movement was reverted to restore the later paragraph about Dorothy Day. Emerymat 22:54, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
Aaaahhh, but you see, someone need not be "pro-abortion" to be "pro-choice". Someone can abhor abortion and still believe in someone's right to choose a different position on the matter. One case in point from current events would be Rudolph Gulianni. Emerymat 00:38, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
I do need to apologize about one thing, though, because in my haste to remove your adding of "Pro-life" and "Consistent Life Ethic" from the 'See Also' section of Progressive Christianity, I neglected to realize that you are correct to remove the Episcopal Church from that same section (seeing that the E.C. is not categorically progressive everywhere, and that the section does not list every denomination that has a major progressive wing--like the United Church of Christ, for instance). Ok, upon further review, I'll give that Consistent Life Ethic could be considered related to Progressive Christianity, but I don't see the case with Pro-life. Emerymat 05:42, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
