Hi. I'm WikidSmaht/WikidCool.( Created and started using my account as "WikidCool" before thinking of and preferring "WikidSmaht".) Apparently my username requires a bit of clarification. It's not: bragging, serious, Wiki D Cool, Wiki dCool, or anything like that. It is: humorous( or at least I thought so), a play on "wiki" and the stereotypical Bostonian pronunciation of "wicked smart"( "wicked" being a local slang intensifier, often taking the place of the adverb very, or sometimes the adjective cool).

I'm 22/m, I live in Boston, not sure what else to say about me.

I like, um, men, kitty cats, video games, theatre...

You may notice my idiosyncratic punctuation, it's intentional, not ignorant. Still, until the English-writing world comes round to my way of thinking, you might want to watch my edits and make sure it doesn't slip into the encyclopedia articles. ;-)

This user page updates sporadically, but say hi on my talk page if you like; I usually respond to comments within a day or two.

I'm proposing adding "Video game strategy guides" to the list of things Wikipedia is not. If you agree, please go to the What Wikipedia is not discussion page and support my proposal.

My biggest current pet project is the improvement of articles relating to the Legend of Zelda series.

The articles I'm trying to improve include:

• Fairy magic (not sure there's much hope for this, may need to be merged and deleted)
• Great Sea (Legend of Zelda) (needs major cleanup, probably a rewrite)
• Holodrum (needs to be written)
• Hyrule (needs major cleanup, possibly a rewrite)
• Koholint Island (needs to be cleaned up and expanded)
• Labrynna (needs to be written)
• Link (Legend of Zelda) (done, in good shape)
• Princess Zelda (done, in good shape)
• Subrosia (needs to be rewritten and expanded, possibly merged into Holodrum)
• Termina (needs to be cleaned up and expanded)
• The Legend of Zelda (TV series) (needs minor cleanup, stubbish and could benefit from more content)
• The Legend of Zelda series enemies (needs major cleanup, rewriting and expansion)
• The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (in good shape, will need upkeep as more info becomes available)
• Most of the other articles in Category:Legend of Zelda
• More to be added

Other suggestions for myself or others to implement:

• Scan for and eliminate horrid English like "Another thing is that", or " Another thing that happens is", or "And then what happens is".
• Fix list items which inappropriately begin with "And".
• Eliminate inappropriate overuse of the phrase "due to".

• Percussive maintenance Poor percussive maintenance. I had recreated it and meant to improve it so it wouldn't be deleted again, but I never got around to it.

• Great Sea (Legend of Zelda) [0] Felt it was a different enough setting for its own article, created it with material from Hyrule.
• Legend of Zelda series songs [0] Created as an alternative to several smaller, unencyclopedic articles about individual songs or groups of a few songs, I'm not sure it is in and of itself encyclopedic. Still, with lists of characters and enemies present on the Wikipedia, I have hope for it, though I know I may eventually have to accept its deletion gracefully, despite the many hours of hard work it represents.
• Template:Move to Wikibook [0] Surprisingly, I could find no template more specific than {{Move to Wikibooks}} for articles destined to bet thusly transwiki'd, except the one specifying the Cookbooks bookshelf. This template allows an editor to specify a particular Wikibook that the content should be moved to.
• Pansexuality [0] Previously a redirect, I created a stub with modified content from pansexual and bisexuality.
• Pre-order incentive [0] Created this stub to explain the concept, and a redirect at pre-order bonus. It's probably at risk for deletion, but hopefully will be improved instead.
• [[]] [ [0]] Details about creation. (major edits: [ [1]], [ [2]] [ [3]])

An alphabetical list of articles I feel I have significantly improved, with chronological links to the particular edits I am proud of:

• Doomsday rule [1] This article was written with math terms like "remainder mod 7" and potentially hard for a reader uneducated or rusty in mathematics to understand, so I added examples and simplified the language.
• Flagship (company) [1] Apparently created by a now-established user back when he was inexperienced, this page hadn't been updated much, so I reworked it for style and content.
• Legend of Zelda series [1] Rewrote article with minor additions.
• Link (Legend of Zelda) [1] I'm particularly fond of this, my first major edit, it took days to write as well as lots of research and is essentially an overhaul of this former front-page piece on the protagonist of the Zelda series, with massive additions. (other memorable edits [1], [2])
• Princess Zelda [1] My second big rewrite, in the wake of Link. (other memorable edits: [1])
• The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (memorable edits, though not huge: [1], [2])
• The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask characters [1], [2] Rewrite and cleanup.
• The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (memorable edits, though not huge: [1], [2], [3a and 3b])
• [[]] [ [1]] Description of edit(s). (other memorable edits: [ [1]], [ [2]], [ [3a] and [ 3b]])
