Hello everyone, my name is Andrew and I'm new to Wikipedia! I'm pretty computer-literate, not a programmer or anything, but still pretty good at figuring out how to work websites, so hopefully I'll get a grip on this one some time real soon!
I live in NH, I'm studying for an associates in graphic arts, and I'm a little wary of putting much else up here right now.
I'm a music junkie. I'm not a guru or an expert, but feel free to contact me if you want to discuss various artists, bands, genres or movements.
Art is really amazing, and I find the creation of it, both the process and the emotions and ideas behind it, to be rivetting. What compells us to create something? This is a question I always am thinking about, with art, music, relationships...everything.
I'm addicted to blogging, but I'm also a respectable writer, too! As in I write poetry, short stories and am currently in the process of getting into novel and screenplay writing.
Don't be a meanie, mkay? It's just unnecessary, especially on this website (or any other site). In my opinion, flame wars are a waste of time, and they make me anxious and uncomfortable. My favorite guideline in Wikiquette is:
Remind yourself that these are people you're dealing with. They are individuals with feelings and probably have other people in the world who love them. Try to allow dignity to others.
