Eight the Cake was established on January 1, 2019 in beautiful Cloudcroft, New Mexico. Eight the Cake opened its doors on June 15,2020. Eight the Cake opened as a Coffee Shop, Bakery, and Art Gallery. The name Eight the Cakes comes from Robyn Abbadusky-Milliken having eight children, Scott, Steven, Kimberly, Robert, Ryan, Sarah, Keith, and Krislyn Milliken. Eight the Cake is a family owned and operated business. Robyn has been making custom cakes for over 20 years and three of her children contributing their artist skills for most of the art that is sold in the gallery. Ryan and Robyn are the main bakers in the bakery kitchen. Richard Welch an entrepreneur saw the potential this family has in artistic and baking skills and invested in this business. Eight the Cake has grown tremendously from the first day they opened their doors. They developed their own branded USDA certified organic coffee in August of 2020. Along with fabulous coffee Eight the Cake offers custom cakes, pastries, pies and artisan breads. Eight the Cake also has gluten free pastries and pies.
