Almost all of my interesting knowledge and information is either directly concerning or related to keeping coldwater and tropical freshwater fish. I am new to Wikipedia as a user, so I won't be making any major changes to articles until I get more comfortable with the website and how to work it. Once I get a pretty good feel of how the website is run, then I plan on trying to make as many useful changes and new articles (Particularly on fish profiles and aquarium care) that time allows.
I am limited as to what information I am permitted to release on the Internet, so my this section of my userpage is not very thorough.
I enjoy a wide range of hobbies, some of which include maintaining freshwater aquariums, crocheting, volleyball, and writing poems and children's books with friends. Some of the books we plan to publish in the future, and some are just for the sake of writing. I am currently taking violin lessons, and have been since the age of six. Although I do all these things, the thing I am known for is my knowledge in fish.
I currently have only two aquariums running (due to a very limited budget). One is a forty-six gallon, and the other is ten. In the ten gallon, I am breeding Convict Cichlids and currently have fifteen Convict Cichlid fry that are about half an inch in length. I have encountered multipule problems because of the small size of the aquarium, so I plan on an upgrade very soon.
The forty-six gallon is a community tank that currently houses 5 Cherry Barb, 5 Corydoras (Various species), 3 Kuhli Loaches, 2 Angelfish, 3 Guppies (One of which is only a fry), 1 Dwarf Gourami, 10+ Ghost Shrimp.
I will try to focus on these particular species when looking to edit an article. I have heard different things about these fish on different online sources that aren't completely accurate. I hope that my personal experience and Wikipedia will help my mission of clarifying the inaccurate information.
