I created my account on English Wikipedia with the username Sazwar on 22 August 2024, at 03:22 GMT. My first article was a translation ofMounia Gasmi into Persian.
The subjects I am interested in are varied; I am mostly interested in biographies of people from different countries, as well as contemporary history and world geography, journalism, and everything related to culture and art. I also do not shy away from politicians and activists. My early days were spent getting to know and learning Policies and guidelines. I am happy to be part of the global Wikipedia community and to be able to contribute to it alongside thousands of other people. Wikipedia, which is freely available and written by a community of volunteers through open collaboration, is the largest and most-read reference work in history. Despite criticism, Wikipedia has been praised for enabling the democratization of knowledge, its extensive coverage, unique structure, and culture. Changes in it start with us, even one line can make a big difference. My articles may not be read, but they will not be lost. Being a Wikipedian means learning and teaching something every day, making knowledge accessible to everyone, enriching the web, and building a more informed future... What greater pleasure could there be than this?
