William J. Hamby-is an American hotel management entrepreneur(born 1985 in Phoenix, AZ)and is mostly recognized as Billy Hamby. Billy is an accomplished student and entrepreneur in the field of Hospitality. In the recent months, Billy has been working on various events such as "Move Without the Ball" with Stedman Graham and recently critiqued the World MBA Tour event held in Philadelphia, PA, the only American city stop for the tour in 2007. Billy has also been a journeyman in the hotel industry, working with 3 different hotels/conference centers ranging in positions such as Supervisor of housekeeping, front desk and banquet representative, and PBX director.
Event Critiques Recently, Billy has been involved in various events, both behind the scenes in in the spotlight. On March 17th, 2007, the Fighting Irish St. Patrick's Day 5K run will be held outside of Philadelphia with Billy and other co-workers the volunteers for such event. In February of 2007, Billy critiqued the World MBA Tour in Philadelphia, and has also critiqued other events such as the National Car Show, the Superbowl and Times Square on New Year's Eve. Billy is known to be very harsh but reasonably honest in his critiques. Although he is not publicly published, it is known that Billy has dealt with CSEP(Certified Special Event Professional)s and is in the process of breaking through as an innovative hospitality and event planning manager.
Education Right now, Billy is attending Temple University and looks to graduate with his MBA in General Management and a BA in Tourism and Hospitality and an Associates Degree in Business Administration.
