Raquel M Jackson (born August 7th 1979) a recording artist, entertainer, and song writer. She grew up in South Philly living with her grandmother, cousin, and middle sister. She attended McDaniel Elementary school for two years graduating off to Barratt Middle school where she would then find her first love. Before her first love she had another love that she respected and would die for which was her best friend Lottie May Purvis. Lottie and Raquel would walk miles around Philadelphia just get away from the day to day life of growing up in South Philly with bullies and trouble makers. From South Philly to north Philly to Germantown and back down Broad Street they would walk, talk and Raquel would sing. Hooking school at times just to be together because Raquel and Lottie attended two different schools. At some point Lottie and Raquel became pregnant at the same time only being a few months away from one another. Not planning to be a young mother Raquel fails in love and became a young mother at the age of 15 giving birth to her daugter Onya on March 17th 1995. On August 5th 1996 she gave birth to her second daughter Des’niah then November 9th 1997 she gave birth to another daughter Siani.

During these times good and bad Raquel always wanted to sing. Raquel attended University City High school where she majored in Health for three years then Law for a year. Her dream was to become a singer/songwriter and travel the world to show off her talents while living and still day dreaming at times. After high school Raquel attended The Art Institute of Philadelphia for Interior Design. Raquel had many talents at a young age and she loved to decorate as well.
