I am a PhD student in neuroscience at Brown University, interested in cellular and network mechanisms underlying perception and behavior. A little vague, I know, but it will become more refined as I commit to a thesis lab and project. Current scientific interests include correlates/substrates of spatial navigation and memory in the hippocampal formation and entorhinal cortex, and the role of inhibitory interneurons in neocortical microcircuitry. I have a BS in chemistry from MIT.

I'm hoping to help develop neuroscience-related material on wikipedia, in addition to other interests. I'm fascinated by both physical security and computer security, and may contribute to pages there as well.
