Project Jedi is a joint military-civilian operation as part of Task Force Delta, a US Constitution based militia commanded by Major David Lakota, former US Marine Infantry soldier and Alaska Airborne Ranger. He deserted his Marine Expeditionary Unit, 2/6 (2nd battalion, sixth Marine Regiment), "the President's Police Force, or "First-to-go", in Camp LeJeune, NC, when they illegally invaded Lybia.

Major Lakota is overseeing and coordinating strategic offensives for liberating America from the M.I.E. (Military Industrial Establishment) that President Eisenhauer warned the American public about in his departure address.
