The Discoveries
The mane of a lion is smooth and right, It's golden and woven with delight. But the otter's skin is soft and gray, While the smirk of a fox is tricky each day.
The jungle is filled with lots of green vines, And the skies of New York have telephone lines, Autumn's leaves are as rainbow as sparkling mist Just like the paint on the artist's fist.
All of the colors, whatever you see, Sing along with the animals and me. For I am the explorer of all creation, And searching for beauties all over the nation.
If you can bang eighty-eight keys, Or fly on skis, Or even if you like to dance with the bees, You might see me.
And when you do, you won't recognize, Because I can only swoop with the skies, I ride snowflakes down to the earth, And spread my joy, filled with mirth.
So talk to the lions, and the otters, Be nice to the sons, and to the daughters. For Discovery is watching you grow to your fame, Yes, Discovery, that is my name.
