The Pathwalker Guild: A private non profit members organisation governed by a set of Protocols (see Protocols Section 5 "The Pathwalker Guild and The Red Path" 2010). The Pathwalker Guild is not affiliated to any political party, movement, organisation, church, religion or cult. The Pathwalker Guild is an independent organisation. Marbo, the martial art, or Dance of the Pathwalker Guild is unique in so far as it is a practical self preservation system, a Martial art that does not place its origin in Eastern oriental philosophy. Marbo was born from survival necessity and experiential learning, culminating over many years in an ordered and distinctly defined collection of optimum techniques and training methods. This includes the study of those body movements that convey information in the absence of speech (kinesics) and the use of the voice to manipulate or confuse an opponent. (See “Hypnotek” Section 6 “The Pathwalker Guild and The Red Path“ 2010). The members of the Pathwalker Guild are forbidden by Protocol from engaging in tournament. The practice of the craft of the Pathwalker namely the “Dance” or Martial Arts of Marbo, Chargash and Ashwayna is exclusively for self defence/preservation or the protection of another. The training of the Pathwalker takes place outdoors, and in all weathers. It is an important feature of The Pathwalker Guilds scenario and realism training, that the practitioner experience the diversity of the elemental environment, and different ground textures underfoot, during the training rehearsal and grading of the craft. The craft of The Pathwalker Guild is practiced in small groups (usually 4-12 in number. A Candidate does not become a full member of The Pathwalker Guild until passing the [three part - two day] first grade, thereby becoming a full and registered member. Only then does the member engage in “Sparring” with other members. The main [Red and Green Path] training base of The Pathwalker Guild is Crogen in North Wales, Great Britain. This is an ex slate quarry, terraformed to fit the multi surface requirements of the Pathwalker Guilds training methods. The Guilds East European retreat is on the high plateau of Eastern Transylvania in the foothills of the Carpathian mountains; a members retreat, and training centre for the [coveted] Black Path training of The Pathwalker Guild.. There are three main training Paths of The Pathwalker Guild; The Red Path (Beginner; a student of the craft). The Green Path (Intermediate; the journeyman apprentice).
