Steve Haber is an American business man and founder of sunglass companies Bollé of America and Habervision. He is largely accredited with creating the Bollé brand and bringing it from nothing to world-known recognition.
Steve Haber has always been an entrepreneur at heart having owned a ski clothing company, a private label ski goggle company, and other business endeavors. Ultimately he honed in on the eyewear industry and founded Bollé.
Haber started Bollé eyewear brand in 1981 after meeting the Bollé family at a ski show. The Bollé family at the time was manufacturing sunglasses in there factory for other sunglass companies. Steve convinced the family to manufacture his designs and let him sell them under the name Bollé.
Starting out Steve went out selling to local shops in Colorado before going national. Using the Triangle Theory of Marketing Haber brought the brand to world-known recognition. In 1995 Bollé was taken public and sold.
After selling Bollé in 1995 Steve enjoyed a period of semi-retirement traveling, fishing, and skiing. Seeing an opportunity to get back in the business Steve started Habervision. He saw an opportunity
