As I stated at my RfA, adminstrators are given the mop because a consensus has been reached that they can be trusted with it. If in the future there are any doubts that the consensus still exists then it should be tested and if necessary the mop should go back in the cupboard. It is for this reason that my first edit after being made an admin was to add myself to Category:Wikipedia administrators open to recall.
My recall requirements are very simple:
If five or more of the 61 editors who !voted in my RfA make a formal good faith petition to me that I have abused my admin tools to the point that they no longer have confidence in my judgment with the mop then I will ask for my admin bit to be removed with immediate effect. The request must be signed by all the five editors within a period of five days.
If you did not participate in my RfA but think that I should be desysopped then please do talk to me first as I am sure that we we will be able to work it out, but if you still feel there is a problem then please approach any of my RfA participants and ask them if they would would be happy to initiate a recall.
